On Friday, 23 Dec 2016 we organized a school celebration, ensuring the last day before the New Year’s school break ended on a high note. The event offered a chance for entertainment while watching our primary and secondary school students’ performances. We joined forces with our students to prepare a theatre and poetry reciation performance. We had selected two beautiful poems by the Slovenian author Vinko Möderndorfer titled Roke and Noge (Hands and Feet). It was staged so that one student read the poem while two other students translated it into sign language. This was followed by six students acting out through movement the verses of the poem to the accompaniment of music.
